SofTrek follows a four-step plan of discovery, planning, implementation, and review for managing your particular hosting needs.
Discovery
Understanding your organization's specific needs is essential to facilitating the successful creation of a solution that is tailored to meet your needs. We’ll provide a questionnaire and engage you in discussions meant to uncover the distinctive aspects of your organization. This includes an overview, then delves into the existing solutions, desired enhancements, and future expectations (i.e., for uptime, security, replication, backups, growth, etc.).
Planning
Successful planning requires consideration of information uncovered during the discovery phase and formulation of a solid formal plan for all stages of implementation from testing through going live. Creation of a formal plan is accomplished in a brainstorming session in which SofTrek's technical staff examines multiple solutions to reliably fit your needs. From these possibilities, the best fit for your organization is selected, a timeline is developed for installation and testing, and the formal plan is shared with you.
Implementation
All aspects of the formal plan are put into motion once you accept the formal plan. Implementation may include a period of installation and testing of hardware and software, as well as a test period where SofTrek's technicians test solutions with your organization prior to going live. Once all parties are satisfied with testing, the solution is rolled out in a live environment – often in stages depending on the formal plan.
Review
Upon implementation of the formal plan, there is a review period. The review looks at your needs list to be sure that expectations are met in all areas. Any revisions to the implementation are considered at this point and may result in another round of discovery, planning, and testing, if necessary, depending on the extent of the expected revisions.
